Only T1/D4 DID or T1/D4 E&M trunks that are programmed with a digital DID or digital E&M trunk circuit descriptor can receive ANI and DNIS digits. The trunk must use DTMF signaling and have a wink timer.
The Class of Service of the trunk controls the ANI/DNIS display.
To program a trunk to receive ANI/DNIS numbers:
enable ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk in the trunk's Class of Service.
For DID trunks, enable Display DNIS/Called Number Before Digit Modification in the trunk's Class of Service (if desired).
To display ANI/DNIS information on display telephones and consoles:
enable Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number.
enable the following options as required:
To display the ANI/ISDN calling number only, enable Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only.
To display unmodified DNIS numbers, enable Display DNIS/Called Number Before Digit Modification.
To display ANI, DNIS, and trunk information related to a station's keyline or multicall line (not the station's prime line), enable Display Caller ID on Multicall/ Keylines.
To program the system to include the ANI and DNIS digits in the SMDR records:
